Each patient is unique and responds to acupuncture differently, so the number and frequency of treatments will vary from patient to patient. The number of treatments needed to address a specific health concern depends upon the duration, severity, and nature of your complaint.
You may need only a single treatment for an acute condition or a series of 6 to 10 treatments may resolve many chronic problems.
Since acupuncture addresses the health of the whole body, there are many people that seek regular acupuncture treatment to maintain good health and as a preventative measure.

Some health insurance policies cover acupuncture. Usually the fees can be partially or fully reclaimed, subject to the terms of your policy.
Our practitioner is recognised by the following private health insurers:

HSF Health Plan, National Friendly, Healthshield.
There are others who cover acupuncture so do check with your provider.
